I bought the farm in 2012 when I was 19 years old. The couple I bought it from had one 9,000 bird house that they originally built as a breeder barn in 1990. In 2015, we housed birds in our new 20,000 bird house. Between the two barns, I’m kept very busy with the daily work. My wife helps me with the morning work every day before she goes to her job off the farm.

On our 58 acre farm, we also have a small cow-calf beef operation and also do crop farming with my dad and brother. Our farm borders my family’s property.

In 2014, after my daily work was done, I arranged eggs to spell out “Will You Marry Me?” We have been married now two years and are expecting our first little farm helper in November 2017.
